Who needs this coverage

Anyone without employer-sponsored coverage. We help individuals, families, self-employed professionals, gig workers, early retirees, and small business owners. Immigration status does not disqualify you from health coverage — there are private and short-term options available for ITIN holders, DACA recipients, work-visa holders, and undocumented family members.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get health insurance without a Social Security Number?

Yes. We work with families across all immigration statuses. ITIN holders, DACA recipients, and work-visa holders can purchase private health plans, short-term medical, and dental/vision coverage. In many states, lawfully present immigrants also qualify for ACA marketplace plans and subsidies. Tell us your situation and we'll show you exactly what you qualify for — no judgment, no shared information.

When can I enroll in an ACA marketplace plan?

Open Enrollment runs November 1 to January 15 in most states. Outside of that window you need a Special Enrollment Period (SEP), triggered by life events like losing job-based coverage, getting married, having a baby, moving, or a change in income. We help confirm SEP eligibility on the call.

I just lost my job — what are my options?

You usually have 60 days from your loss-of-coverage date to enroll in an ACA plan with a Special Enrollment Period — and ACA is almost always cheaper than COBRA, especially with subsidies. We can also quote a short-term plan to bridge the gap if you start a new job soon.

How much will I pay each month?

It depends on age, ZIP, household size, and income. With ACA subsidies, the majority of families enrolling through us pay between $0 and $150/month for a Silver plan. Without subsidies, individual plans typically run $300–$700/month. We'll give you exact pricing on the call.

Will my doctor be in-network?

Tell us the doctors and hospitals you want to keep, and we'll filter plans to only show options where they're in-network. This is the #1 reason people regret picking a plan on their own.

Is my information shared with anyone?
