Frequently asked questions

What insurance do I need for a semi truck?

At minimum: primary liability ($750K–$1M), physical damage, cargo insurance, and bobtail/NTL if you're an owner-operator. Most carriers and brokers require $1M in liability regardless of FMCSA minimums.

Can new CDL drivers get semi truck insurance?

Yes, but with limited carrier options and higher rates. We specialize in placing new drivers and new venture carriers. Most carriers require at least 1–2 years of CDL experience for the best rates.
